Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and grease it.
- Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl, then mix in sugars and cocoa powder until smooth.
- Let cool slightly, then add vanilla, eggs, egg yolk, and corn syrup. Mix well.
- Add flour, cornstarch, and salt, and stir until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then let cool completely.
- Heat heavy cream, add chocolate chips, and stir until smooth to make the frosting.
- Spread frosting over cooled brownies and top with candy.
- Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until set, then cut into squares.
Notes
For the best results, allow the brownies to chill fully before serving. This helps the frosting set and gives you that perfect chewy, bakery-style texture.
