- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add vanilla extract.
- Add dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in M&Ms and chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough into balls and place on baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
- Let cookies cool on the tray for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
